Job Description

An opportunity is available for a skilled Speech Language Pathologist to provide essential services in a K-12 school setting located in Flint, MI. This contract position spans from ASAP until June 2025, focusing on supporting students with mild to moderate speech delays across all age groups.

Qualifications:

  • Certification as a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC)
  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field
  • Previous experience working in school settings preferred
  • Ability to assess, diagnose, and treat speech and language disorders
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Commitment to providing high-quality, individualized care to students

Location:
Flint, MI (in-person only)

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify students' speech and language needs
  • Develop and implement tailored intervention plans to support student goals
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to facilitate effective communication strategies
  • Monitor and document student progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary
  • Provide counseling and support to students and families regarding speech and language challenges
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to a positive school environment
