Job Description

Location:
Federal Way, WA

Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Active Washington State SLP license
  • ESA certification
  • Recent fingerprint clearance through OSPI (within the past 2 years)
  • CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence) preferred
  • Experience in pediatric speech-language therapy, particularly in school settings

Responsibilities:

  • Assess and treat students with speech and language disorders across various grade levels
  • Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to student needs
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and interdisciplinary teams to promote effective communication strategies
  • Monitor student progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of therapy sessions and outcomes
  • Participate in staff meetings and professional development opportunities

This position runs from ASAP through June, with a typical caseload averaging about 55 students for the full-time role. Assignments may be at two different locations, determined by the skill and experience of the candidate.
