This position focuses on providing exceptional speech-language pathology services to students ranging from Pre-K to 2nd grade, addressing various mild to moderate disabilities.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments and provide diagnoses for students requiring speech and language support.
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student's needs.
  • Deliver direct therapy services in accordance with IEP goals, utilizing effective techniques and strategies.
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and other specialists to ensure comprehensive support for students.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of services provided and student progress.
  • Participate in staff meetings and professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.

Qualifications:

  • Current SLP license in Connecticut.
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC).
  • Experience in pediatric speech therapy, preferably in a school setting.
  • Proficient in teletherapy practices as needed.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
