Job Description

An opportunity is available for a dedicated professional to contribute to the educational development of students through specialized speech and language services. This part-time position allows for a focused approach to meet the needs of students requiring such interventions.

Qualifications:

  • Current Oklahoma SLP License
  • Valid Oklahoma Teaching Certification
  • CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence) in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Experience working in school settings, particularly with K-12 students
  • Strong evaluation and assessment skills
  • Ability to supervise Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs)

Location:

  • Edmond, OK

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct evaluations and assessments to identify student speech and language needs
  • Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) based on evaluation results
  • Provide direct therapy services to students, utilizing evidence-based practices
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to support students goals
  • Supervise and mentor SLPAs in their professional practice
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of student progress and services rendered
