Job Description

An opportunity exists for a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist to contribute significantly within an educational setting in Easley, SC. This role involves providing comprehensive speech and language services to students, ensuring their communication needs are effectively met.

Location: Easley, SC Schedule: 37.5 hours per week, full-time; part-time availability also considered Contract Duration: ASAP through the end of the school year and into the 2025-2026 school year

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments and evaluations to determine students' speech and language needs.
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with educators and parents.
  • Provide direct therapy to students requiring speech and language services.
  • Monitor and document students' progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss student progress and strategies for support.
  • Maintain accurate records of services rendered and student outcomes.

Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
  • Valid state license as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a school or pediatric setting preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of IEP processes and teletherapy practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
