Job Description

The role focuses on providing SLP services to students, fostering their communication skills and supporting their educational needs. This role is designed for the upcoming school year, requiring a commitment of 37.5 hours per week. Caseload assignments will be tailored to align with staff strengths, promoting a collaborative and supportive work environment.

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in SLP
  • Valid Colorado SLP license
  • Certification from the Colorado Department of Education
  • Strong knowledge of K-12 educational practices and speech disorders
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team

Responsibilities:

  • Assess and evaluate students speech and language needs
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Provide direct therapy services to a varied caseload, approximately 50 students
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to support students goals
  • Maintain accurate documentation of progress and therapy outcomes
  • Adjust therapy techniques based on student strengths and needs
