Job Description

An opportunity is available for a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist with a focus on pediatric and educational settings. This contract position is based in Danbury, CT, within an elementary school environment, and spans from ASAP until June, offering the chance to make a meaningful impact on the lives of young students.

Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Valid Connecticut SLP license
  • CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence) preferred
  • Experience working with elementary school-aged children, particularly with diverse caseloads
  • Familiarity with IEP processes and educational interventions

Location:

  • Danbury, CT

Responsibilities:

  • Provide assessment, diagnosis, and treatment for students with speech and language disorders
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) to meet student needs
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student progress
  • Manage a caseload of approximately 50 students across two school sites
  • Maintain accurate records of students' progress and documentation as required
