Job Description

In a vibrant educational environment, professionals will provide dedicated speech-language pathology services to K-12 students. This role focuses on supporting children with diverse needs, particularly those who are deaf or hard of hearing, ensuring each student has the tools necessary to succeed.

Qualifications:

  • Valid Ohio Speech-Language Pathologist license
  • Professional Pupil Service License required
  • Experience in pediatric speech therapy, particularly in school settings
  • Familiarity with teletherapy practices is a plus
  • Strong assessment and evaluation skills
  • Ability to develop and implement IEPs
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Location: Columbus, Ohio

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess students’ communication needs
  • Provide direct and indirect speech-language services as outlined in IEPs
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to develop tailored intervention plans
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of services provided and student progress
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to a supportive learning environment
  • Address a variety of speech and language disorders, focusing on students who are deaf or hard of hearing
