Job Description

An opportunity has arisen for a skilled professional to provide specialized support in a K-12 educational setting. This contract position is designed to cover a leave of absence, allowing for the delivery of vital services to students in need of speech-language pathology.

Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
  • Valid state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
  • Certifcation from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) preferred.
  • Experience working with children in a school setting, particularly K-12.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to develop individualized education plans (IEPs).
  • Proficiency in assessment and treatment of speech and language disorders.

Location:

  • Cincinnati, OH

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify students’ speech and language needs.
  • Develop and implement appropriate therapy plans tailored to individual students.
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to support students’ goals.
  • Monitor student progress and adjust therapy as needed.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of services provided and student progress.
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the overall development of students.
