An exciting opportunity exists for a skilled professional to make a meaningful impact in a K-12 school. This contract-to-hire position involves providing essential speech therapy services to students, ensuring their communicative needs are effectively met.

Location: Chicago, IL

Duration: ASAP - May 30, 2025

Schedule: 37.5 hours per week during the current school year

Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct speech therapy services to students with varied needs
• Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify speech and language disorders
• Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in collaboration with educational staff
• Attend and participate in IEP meetings, providing necessary insights and progress updates
• Maintain accurate records of student progress and therapy outcomes

Qualifications:

• Current Speech-Language Pathologist License (SLP-CCC)
• Master's degree in SLP
• Experience in healthcare, pediatrics, and school settings, particularly with K-12 students
• Strong assessment and evaluation skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
