An opportunity is available for a dedicated professional to provide essential speech and language services within an educational setting. This role focuses on supporting students from diverse backgrounds, ensuring that each individual receives the necessary guidance to enhance their communication skills.

Qualifications:

• Valid Arizona Speech Language Pathologist License.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Communication Disorders; Master’s Degree preferred.
• Minimum of two years of experience providing therapy services to children.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Proven ability to build cooperative relationships with staff, parents, and students.
• Current DPS IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card.

Responsibilities:

• Screen and evaluate students to assess their speech and language needs.
• Develop and implement individual education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with teachers and other specialists.
• Conduct regular assessments to monitor student progress and adjust therapy goals as necessary.
• Provide direct therapy services and support to a mixed caseload of PK-12 students.
• Prepare and maintain accurate documentation and reports as required.
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to a supportive educational environment.
