Job Description

An opportunity has arisen for skilled Speech-Language Pathologists to support young learners in a dynamic educational setting. This contract position is based in Central Point, OR, within an engaging elementary school environment, focusing on a diverse Pre-K caseload.

Location: Central Point, OR

Responsibilities:

  • Provide assessment, diagnosis, and treatment for students with speech and language disorders.
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students.
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and other specialists to support student learning and development.
  • Manage a caseload of 60-65 students aged 3-5 years.
  • Maintain accurate records of student progress and treatment outcomes.
  • Participate in staff meetings and professional development opportunities.

Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or relevant field.
  • Valid SLP license or clinical fellowship year (CFY) candidates are encouraged to apply.
  • Experience in pediatric speech therapy, particularly in a school setting.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively within a team and adapt to varying educational environments.
