Job Description

Qualifications:

  • Valid Connecticut Speech-Language Pathologist License
  • Experience in school-based settings, particularly with pediatric populations
  • Familiarity with teletherapy practices is advantageous
  • Ability to collaborate with educators and support staff
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Location:

  • Bridgeport, CT, serving an elementary school environment

Responsibilities:

  • Provide assessment, diagnosis, and treatment for students with speech and language disorders
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with teachers
  • Monitor student progress and adjust therapy techniques as needed
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to a holistic approach to student care
  • Maintain accurate documentation of services provided and student progress
