Job Description

In an educational setting requiring skilled support for students, an opportunity has arisen for an experienced Speech-Language Pathologist to contribute to multiple school environments. This position focuses on providing comprehensive speech and language services to an itinerant caseload, ranging from Pre-K through 8th grade.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments to evaluate students' speech and language needs.
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with teaching staff.
  • Provide direct therapy services to students across various grade levels.
  • Monitor student progress and adjust therapy plans as necessary.
  • Collaborate with parents, educators, and other professionals to support students’ overall development.
  • Maintain accurate records of services provided and progress documented.

Qualifications:

  • Current Connecticut Speech-Language Pathologist licensure.
  • Experience working with pediatric populations, especially in school settings.
  • Familiarity with teletherapy practices is a plus.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with students and staff.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently in an itinerant role.
