Exciting opportunity available for a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist with a focus on pediatric and school settings. This position is crucial in supporting the communication needs of elementary students across two school sites in Bridgeport, CT. The role involves working with a diverse caseload of approximately 50 students, providing essential speech and language services from now until June.

Location: Bridgeport, CT

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments and evaluations to determine students' speech and language needs.
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students on your caseload.
  • Provide direct therapeutic services in accordance with IEPs, ensuring effective communication interventions.
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to support students' overall development.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of student progress and interventions.

Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
  • Current Connecticut SLP license.
  • CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence) preferred.
  • Experience working with pediatric populations, particularly in school settings.
  • Familiarity with IEP processes and school-based therapy.
