Job Description

A highly qualified licensed professinal is sought for a unique opportunity in Avondale, AZ, for the upcoming school year. This position focuses on providing comprehensive communication support to high school students, facilitating their educational and social development.

Location: Avondale, AZ

Responsibilities:

  • Assess and evaluate students' speech and language needs.
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students on your caseload.
  • Provide direct therapy to students, addressing a variety of speech and language disorders.
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and support staff to ensure a comprehensive approach to each student's needs.
  • Supervise and support a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) as needed.
  • Maintain accurate records of student progress and documentation as required by school policy.

Qualifications:

  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
  • Valid Arizona SLP license with CCCs.
  • IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card.
  • Experience working with high school students, particularly those in grades 9-12.
  • Ability to supervise an SLPA.
