Job Title: Sign Language Interpreter

Responsibilities:

  • Provide accurate and clear interpretation of spoken language into sign language and vice versa for K-12 students.

  • Maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards in all interpretations.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum EIPA score of 4.0 and successful completion of a written test, or hold RID certification along with a written test.
  • Demonstrated professional experience in a school setting.
  • Strong knowledge of academic vocabulary and the ability to interpret complex concepts.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to build rapport with students and staff.
