American Sign Language Interpreter Tecumseh, MI

Sunbelt Staffing is looking to hire Certified American Sign Language Interpreters to provide school-based services. This contracted position is for the upcoming 25/26 school year and is full-time till the end of the school year.

Job Details:
  • Provide real-time interpretation between spoken English and American Sign Language (ASL) in classrooms, assemblies, meetings, and school-related events.
  • Support communication between students, teachers, staff, and peers.
  • Interpret a variety of subject matter accurately, maintaining confidentiality and professionalism.
Requirements:
  • Fluency in American Sign Language and English.
  • At least an EIPA score of 4.0 or higher
  • Must be RID or NIC certified
  • Experience interpreting in an educational setting a plus
  • Must be authorized to work in the US
