Job Description

Qualifications:

  • Certification as a Sign Language Interpreter from a recognized body
  • Proficiency in American Sign Language (ASL)
  • Experience interpreting in educational settings, particularly with students
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with teachers and other staff
  • Knowledge of educational practices and resources for deaf or hard of hearing students

Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality interpretation services for students in classroom settings
  • Collaborate with educators to support the learning needs of deaf or hard of hearing students
