Job Description

A dedicated professional is needed to provide essential communication support as a Sign Language Interpreter. This full-time contract position is located in Fremont, MI, within an elementary school setting, focusing on fostering inclusive educational experiences for students who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing (DHH).

Qualifications:

  • Proficient in American Sign Language (ASL) and understanding of various communication styles.
  • Previous experience interpreting in educational settings, particularly with K-5 students.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to facilitate effective communication between students, teachers, and staff.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.

Location:

Fremont, MI – Primarily in a K-5 elementary school setting.
