Job Description

Exciting opportunities are available for Sign Language Interpreters in a K-12 educational setting located in Fort Myers, FL. These positions focus on providing essential communication support to students who are deaf or hard of hearing, fostering an inclusive learning environment from now until the end of May.

Qualifications:

  • Proficient in American Sign Language (ASL)
  • EIPA score of 3.0 or higher
  • Experience interpreting in educational settings, particularly with K-12 students
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively with students and staff
  • Knowledge of special education processes and related terminology is an asset

Location:

  • Fort Myers, FL, serving at various K-12 schools including elementary and middle school levels.

Responsibilities:
