Qualifications:

• Valid certification as a Sign Language Interpreter (e.g., NIC, RID).
• Proficient in American Sign Language (ASL) with a strong understanding of various dialects and cultural nuances.
• Experience interpreting in K-12 educational environments, particularly with elementary students.
• Strong interpersonal skills to facilitate effective communication among students, teachers, and staff.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.

Responsibilities:

• Provide interpretation services for students who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing, ensuring access to the curriculum.
