An opportunity is available for dedicated professionals in the field of school psychology. This position is situated in Stockton, CA, within a dynamic high school environment, serving students from 9th to 12th grade. The role focuses on providing essential psychological services, ensuring that each student receives the support they need to thrive academically and emotionally.

Qualifications:

  • Valid School Psychologist License for California
  • PPS Credential in School Psychology
  • Experience working with high school-aged students
  • Strong skills in conducting assessments and evaluations
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
  • Ability to explain assessment results and support IEP processes

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct psychological assessments, re-evaluations, and evaluations for a caseload of 40-50 high school students.
  • Attend and actively participate in IEP meetings, providing clarity on assessment results and recommendations.
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to develop and implement appropriate interventions.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of services provided and compliance with district policies.
  • Support students’ mental health and academic success through individual and group counseling.
