Qualifications:

  • Valid NY State Psychologist License
  • Experience working with K-12 students, particularly in elementary settings
  • Strong skills in conducting assessments and re-evaluations
  • Ability to collaborate effectively in IEP and RTI meetings
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Familiarity with educational policies and procedures

Location: Spring Valley, NY area

Responsibilities:

  • Provide psychological assessments and evaluations for students
  • Conduct intake meetings and develop individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to support student needs
  • Participate in response to intervention (RTI) meetings and strategies
  • Address learning and behavioral challenges through tailored interventions
  • Maintain accurate records of student progress and documentation

This position is designed for a full-time commitment, with hours approximately from 7:30 AM to 3:30 PM, starting as soon as possible and continuing through the end of May.
