Job Description

Dynamic opportunity for a dedicated professional with expertise in school psychology. This role is set in an engaging K-12 environment in Silver City, NM, and is focused on supporting students' educational and emotional needs through comprehensive evaluation and intervention processes.

Responsibilities:

  • Review and analyze IEPs and evaluation data to support student needs.
  • Complete REED documents and collaborate with teams during REED meetings.
  • Conduct re-evaluations for students in special education.
  • Perform initial evaluations for students not yet receiving services.
  • Assess classroom data and referrals to determine testing eligibility.
  • Work closely with IEP teams to ensure compliance with evaluations and state and federal requirements.

Qualifications:

  • Masters or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or related field.
  • Licensed or credentialed as a School Psychologist.
  • Experience working in K-12 educational settings.
  • Strong understanding of special education processes and regulations.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
  • Excellent assessment and evaluation skills.
