This role is designed for a professional ready to step in as a "sub" psychologist, addressing immediate needs while also contributing to the wellbeing and academic success of high school students across multiple sites.

Qualifications:

• Active California psychologist license
• PPS (Pupil Personnel Services) Credential
• Experience working with high school age students
• Strong assessment and intervention skills
• Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, parents, and other professionals
• Excellent communication and organizational skills

Location:

• San Diego, CA
• Various high school sites within the Chula Vista area

Responsibilities:

• Provide psychological assessments and interventions for students
• Support students' mental health and academic needs
• Collaborate with educational staff to implement effective strategies
• Attend faculty meetings and participate in school committees
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of student progress
• Offer crisis intervention and support during psychologist leaves
