Job Description

Qualifications:

  • Master’s or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or a related field.
  • Valid state certification or licensure in School Psychology.
  • Experience working with K-12 students, particularly in assessment and intervention.
  • Strong understanding of cognitive, emotional, and social development in children.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with staff, students, and families.
  • Ability to implement and manage Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and other support plans.

Location:

  • Salem, OR

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct psychological assessments and provide diagnoses for students.
  • Develop and implement appropriate interventions tailored to individual student needs.
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student well-being and learning.
  • Provide professional development and training for staff on mental health topics.
  • Participate in student service meetings and contribute to the development of IEPs.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of interventions and adjust as needed.
