A position for a dedicated professional with expertise in K-12 school psychology has become available in Prospect Heights, IL. This role focuses on providing essential psychological services within an educational setting, ensuring that students receive the support they need to thrive academically and emotionally.

Qualifications:

• Valid School Psychologist License in Illinois
• Professional Educator License (PEL) Credential
• Experience working with K-12 students, particularly in evaluations and assessments
• Strong collaboration skills, especially with special education teams
• Ability to develop and implement behavior plans and IEPs
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Location: Prospect Heights, IL

Responsibilities:

• Conduct psychological evaluations and re-evaluations for students
• Collaborate with special education teams to develop individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Participate actively in IEP meetings to advocate for student needs
• Create and implement behavior intervention plans as necessary
• Provide consultation services to teachers and staff regarding student well-being
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of student progress and assessments
