Job Description

In a vibrant educational setting, professionals will provide essential psychological services to students, focusing on those in the Dual Language Immersion program. This role is crucial in conducting evaluations and developing targeted interventions that support student needs from initial assessments through program placement.

Qualifications:

  • Valid School Psychologist License in Oregon
  • Strong knowledge of Response to Intervention (RTI) principles
  • Experience in conducting psychological evaluations in K-12 settings
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with educators and other specialists
  • Bilingual skills are an asset, particularly in Spanish

Location:
Portland, OR

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct up to five psychological evaluations annually for students referred for assessments
  • Assess students' intellectual and mental functional levels to inform program development
  • Develop and implement behavior plans in collaboration with instructional staff
  • Consult with educators on child development and specific student challenges
  • Work alongside the district school psychologist to adhere to assessment procedures
