Job Description

Qualifications:

  • Valid School Psychologist License in Oregon
  • Strong understanding of Response to Intervention (RTI) principles
  • Experience in conducting evaluations and assessments
  • Ability to develop behavior plans and consult with instructional personnel
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Location: Portland, Oregon

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct evaluations for students referred for initial assessments, with a focus on up to five students throughout the school year
  • Assess students' intellectual and mental functional levels to inform program development and student placement
  • Develop individualized behavior plans and provide consultation on child development issues
  • Collaborate with the district school psychologist to implement assessment procedures
  • Determine support hours for evaluations based on individual case needs, including assessments, observations, and report writing
