Position: Remote School Psychologist (1099 Contractor) – Tennessee

Location: Remote (Serving Schools in Tennessee)
Job Type: 1099 Contract
Compensation: Commensurate with experience and school budget

Overview:
We are looking for a qualified and dedicated School Psychologist to join our team and provide remote services for schools across Tennessee. This 1099 contract position allows you to work from home while supporting students’ academic, emotional, and behavioral needs in a school-based setting. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience in a school environment and be licensed to practice in Tennessee. Prior remote work experience is preferred but not required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational assessments to evaluate student needs and learning challenges.
  • Provide individual and group counseling sessions for students dealing with emotional, behavioral, or academic issues.
  • Collaborate with educators, administrators, and families to develop and implement IEPs and academic support plans.
  • Offer consultation services to staff on behavioral strategies and mental health concerns.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential documentation of all assessments, progress reports, and treatment plans.
  • Participate in virtual IEP meetings and other school team discussions as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Master’s or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or related field.
  • Valid Tennessee certification or licensure as a School Psychologist.
  • At least 2 years of experience working as a School Psychologist in a school setting.
  • Experience in psychoeducational assessments and providing counseling services.
  • Familiarity with IEP development and school-based interventions.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, especially in a virtual environment.
  • Experience with remote service delivery is a plus but not required.

Compensation:
Pay will be determined based on the candidate’s experience and the budget available from the school district. We offer competitive pay for qualified candidates.
