Qualifications:

  • Valid Illinois School Psychologist License
  • Professional Educator License (PEL) preferred
  • Master’s or Doctoral degree in School Psychology
  • Experience working with middle school-aged students, particularly in specialized instruction settings
  • Strong assessment and intervention skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Commitment to collaborating with educators, parents, and administrative staff

Location:

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations and assessments for students.
  • Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in collaboration with faculty.
  • Provide counseling and support services to students in the specialized instruction classroom.
  • Serve as a resource for teachers and staff regarding mental health and behavioral issues.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to a positive school environment.
  • Facilitate training and workshops for staff on best practices in student mental health.
