Job Description

Engage with a dynamic educational environment in Chicago, IL, working as a skilled School Psychologist. This role supports K-12 students by providing critical psychological services, enabling their academic and social success. The position is designed for the upcoming school year, running from August to June, within a full-time capacity of 37.5 hours per week.

Qualifications:

  • Valid School Psychologist License for Illinois
  • PEL (Professional Educator License) Credential
  • Experience working with K-12 students
  • Strong skills in completing evaluations, assessments, and re-evaluations
  • Ability to develop behavior plans and collaborate with special education teams
  • Proficient in leading and participating in IEP meetings

Location:
Chicago, IL

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct psychological evaluations and assessments for students
  • Collaborate with special education teams to create and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Attend and contribute to IEP meetings, fostering a comprehensive support system for students
  • Provide consultation services to educators, staff, and families regarding students’ mental health and educational needs
  • Develop and implement behavior intervention plans as necessary
