Job Description

A unique opportunity exists for skilled School Psychologists to make a significant impact within educational settings in Chicago, IL. This role provides a chance to support students' mental health and educational needs through assessment, intervention, and consultation.

Qualifications:

  • Ed.S. or Ph.D. in School Psychology
  • Valid state certification or license in School Psychology
  • Experience working with diverse populations
  • Strong assessment and diagnostic skills
  • Ability to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Familiarity with evidence-based practices in mental health and education

Location:
Chicago, IL

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct psychoeducational assessments and develop appropriate interventions.
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to support student needs.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to IEP discussions.
  • Provide training and support to staff on mental health awareness and best practices.
  • Implement crisis intervention strategies and provide support during crises.
  • Monitor and evaluate student progress and adjust interventions as needed.
