Job Description

A unique opportunity exists for skilled School Psychologists to make a significant impact within educational settings in Chicago, IL. This role provides a chance to support students' mental health and educational needs through assessment, intervention, and consultation.

Qualifications:

Ed.S. or Ph.D. in School Psychology
Valid state certification or license in School Psychology
Experience working with diverse populations
Strong assessment and diagnostic skills
Ability to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Familiarity with evidence-based practices in mental health and education

Location:
Chicago, IL

Responsibilities:

Conduct psychoeducational assessments and develop appropriate interventions.
Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to support student needs.
Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to IEP discussions.
Provide training and support to staff on mental health awareness and best practices.
Implement crisis intervention strategies and provide support during crises.
Monitor and evaluate student progress and adjust interventions as needed.
