Job Description

Dynamic opportunity available for skilled professionals in a K-12 school setting located in Willmar, MN. This position is ideal for individuals dedicated to supporting the health and well-being of students under the supervision of a Licensed School Nurse.

Qualifications:

  • Current LPN or RN license
  • Valid CPR certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross
  • First Aid certification
  • Experience in a school health room or similar setting is preferred
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team

Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct health care services to students, ensuring a safe and healthy school environment
  • Assist in the development and implementation of health policies and procedures
  • Collaborate with the Licensed School Nurse to assess student health needs and provide appropriate care
  • Maintain accurate health records and documentation for all students
  • Support students with chronic health conditions and special health care needs
  • Conduct health screenings and monitor immunization records as required
  • Educate students and staff on health and wellness topics as needed
