This position is ideal for licensed practical nurses (LPNs) or registered nurses (RNs) looking to make a positive impact in a school setting. The role entails delivering 1:1 care to a fourth-grade student with specific health needs, including asthma management, seizure support, and assistance with a feeding tube.

Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to the assigned student, ensuring a safe and supportive learning environment.
• Monitor and manage the student's health conditions, including respiratory issues and seizure responses.
• Collaborate with educators and other support staff to integrate health care plans into the student's daily routine.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of the student’s health status and care provided.
• Communicate effectively with the student's family regarding health concerns and progress.

Qualifications:

• Current LPN/LVN or RN license in Washington State.
• Experience in pediatric nursing, preferably in a school setting.
• Familiarity with managing chronic health conditions and specialized care procedures.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with students, staff, and families.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.
