Engage in a vital role providing specialized nursing care to a K-12 student with complex medical needs. This full-time position offers an opportunity to make a significant impact on a young person's life by ensuring their health and safety during school hours.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver expert nursing care to a student with three life-threatening medical conditions.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, including:
  • Seizure disorder interventions.
  • Daily medication via G-tube for adrenal insufficiency.
  • Monitoring and managing hypoglycemia through blood glucose testing.
• Collaborate with educational staff to create a supportive learning environment.
• Maintain accurate health records and communicate effectively with the student’s family and school personnel.
• Accompany the student on the school bus as part of comprehensive care.

Qualifications:

• Valid WA Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Demonstrated experience in school nursing or pediatric care preferred.
• Strong assessment and critical thinking skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
