Job Description

A rewarding opportunity is available for a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to support behavioral interventions in a middle school setting. This contract position, located in Waterbury, CT, offers full-time hours and the chance to work directly with students during the academic year from ASAP through the end of the school year.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement individualized behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
  • Collect and record data on student progress and behaviors
  • Collaborate with school staff to provide consistent behavioral support
  • Assist students in developing positive social and academic skills
  • Maintain professional and ethical standards consistent with RBT certification

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Current Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification is required
  • Experience working with middle school-aged children preferred
  • Strong communication and data collection skills
  • Ability to follow detailed behavior plans and work collaboratively in a school environment
