A full-time opportunity for a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) is available at a school in Danbury, CT, supporting middle school students. This contract position runs from ASAP through the end of the school year. The role offers a focused assignment to one school, providing direct support within a structured educational setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
- Collect data and track student progress
- Apply evidence-based behavioral techniques to support social, emotional, and academic development
- Collaborate with educators and support staff to ensure consistent behavior management across settings
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of interventions and outcomes
Qualifications:
- Current Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification is required
- Experience working with middle school-aged children is preferred
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to remain patient, flexible, and professional in a school environment
- Commitment to helping students develop critical behavior and social skills
