Job Description

A part-time Physical Therapist is sought for a K-12 educational setting in Danbury, CT. This role involves providing specialized therapeutic services to students from Pre-K through 12th grade, addressing a variety of physical therapy needs within the school community. Qualifications:

  • Current Connecticut Physical Therapy license

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments and evaluations to determine students' physical therapy needs.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans consistent with students' goals.
  • Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and parents to facilitate therapy services.
  • Monitor student progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of services provided and student progress.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to a supportive educational environment.

This position runs as a contract from ASAP until June, requiring approximately 18 hours of work per week over 2-3 days.
