Job Description

In a supportive educational environment, a part-time Physical Therapist is sought to provide essential services to students in a K-12 setting. This role focuses on creating tailored therapeutic plans to meet the individual needs of two students—one at the high school level and another in middle school.

Qualifications:

  • Valid Alabama Physical Therapy license
  • Previous experience in professional school settings
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with faculty and staff
  • Experience working with diverse student populations

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for students
  • Implement therapeutic activities to enhance students' physical abilities
  • Monitor and document student progress, adjusting plans as necessary
  • Collaborate with teachers and other professionals to ensure comprehensive support
  • Communicate regularly with students, parents, and staff regarding progress and needs
