Job Title: Paraprofessional

Position Summary:
Sunbelt is seeking a dedicated and compassionate paraprofessional to support students with their educational, social, and emotional needs in a classroom setting. The ideal candidate will work closely with teachers to provide individualized assistance to students, promote positive behavior, and help foster an inclusive and supportive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist teachers with lesson delivery and classroom management.
• Provide one-on-one or small group instruction to students as directed.
• Support students in achieving academic goals and improving behavioral outcomes.
• Help students with daily tasks, such as organization, material preparation, and classroom activities.
• Monitor student progress and report any concerns to the supervising teacher.
• Assist with maintaining a positive and safe classroom environment.
• Support students with disabilities or special needs, if applicable.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education or certification in education preferred.
• Experience working with children or in a school setting is highly desirable.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Patience, compassion, and a desire to work with students of diverse backgrounds.
• Ability to follow instructions, adapt to changing classroom needs, and work effectively as part of a team.
