Engage in a meaningful role supporting students with diverse needs in an educational setting. This position focuses on providing one-on-one assistance to an 18-year-old student, fostering an inclusive and supportive learning environment from now through June 4, 2025, including a summer program.

Qualifications:

• Illinois paraprofessional license
• Experience working with students, particularly those with special needs
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with teachers and other staff
• Patience and adaptability in various classroom settings
• Commitment to student success and well-being

Location:
Crete, IL

Responsibilities:

• Provide individualized support to the assigned student throughout the school day
• Assist with the implementation of educational programs and adjustments as needed
• Collaborate with classroom teachers and staff to enhance the student’s learning experience
• Monitor and document the student’s progress, adapting support strategies as required
• Support the student in developing social and emotional skills alongside academic goals
• Participate in staff meetings and professional development opportunities to enhance skills
