Job Description

An excellent opportunity exists for a dedicated professional in a supportive educational environment. This role focuses on providing personalized assistance to an 8th-grade student as a bilingual Ukrainian-speaking paraprofessional, ensuring they receive the guidance and support needed throughout the school day.

Location: Chicago, IL

Responsibilities:

  • Support the student in daily academic activities and organizational skills.
  • Collaborate with teachers and staff to implement individualized education plans (IEPs).
  • Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment tailored to the student’s needs.
  • Facilitate communication between the student and staff, utilizing bilingual skills effectively.
  • Monitor student progress and adapt support strategies as required.

Qualifications:

  • Active ELS/PARA license.
  • Fluent in Ukrainian, with strong communication skills in English.
  • Previous experience working with students, particularly in one-on-one settings.
  • Familiarity with educational tools and resources to support learning.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a commitment to student success.
