Job Title: Contract Occupational Therapist (School-Based)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough evaluations to assess students' occupational therapy needs.
  • Collaborate with onsite OT staff to develop and implement effective therapy plans.
  • Provide direct support to students, ensuring that they receive the necessary interventions to thrive.
  • Document progress and modify plans as needed based on student response and outcomes.
  • Engage with teachers, parents, and other stakeholders to promote understanding of OT strategies and goals.

Qualifications:

  • Current NM Occupational Therapy license.
  • Relevant experience in a school setting, working with K-12 students.

  • Ability to manage a caseload and prioritize tasks efficiently within the designated hours.
  • Familiarity with virtual therapy tools and strategies for engaging students online.
