An opportunity exists for a dedicated Occupational Therapist to contribute to a dynamic educational environment in Tacoma, WA. This role focuses on providing essential therapeutic services to K-12 students, ensuring their diverse needs are met within the school setting.

Location: Tacoma, WA

Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments to determine students’ occupational therapy needs.
• Develop and implement individualized therapy plans in alignment with IEP goals.
• Provide direct therapy services, managing a caseload of 900 to 950 service minutes per week.
• Collaborate with educators and staff to facilitate student access to learning.
• Maintain accurate documentation of services rendered and student progress.

Qualifications:

• Valid WA Occupational Therapy license and ESA certification.
• Previous experience in school-based therapy is highly preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with students, parents, and staff.
• Ability to manage time efficiently across multiple school locations.
