Job Description

An exciting opportunity awaits for an Occupational Therapist seeking to make a meaningful impact in an educational setting. This contract position is based in Seattle, WA, and extends until June 2025, with the possibility of renewal.

Qualifications:

  • Valid Washington State Occupational Therapy license
  • ESA (Educational Staff Associate) certification or in the process of obtaining one
  • Experience working with school-aged populations, particularly K-12
  • Familiarity with a variety of delays and disabilities
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams

Location:
Seattle, WA

Responsibilities:

  • Provide assessment, diagnosis, and treatment for students with diverse occupational therapy needs
  • Develop individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with educators and other specialists
  • Implement therapeutic interventions to support students’ physical and sensory needs
  • Monitor and document students’ progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary
  • Participate in staff meetings and professional development opportunities
  • Communicate effectively with students, parents, and staff regarding therapy goals and progress
