An opportunity is available for an Occupational Therapist seeking to make a meaningful impact in an educational setting. This position is located in Newburyport, MA, within an elementary school environment, and involves working with a diverse K-8 student caseload.

Qualifications:

• Active MA Occupational Therapy license
• Experience in healthcare, particularly in school settings
• Strong background in assessment and evaluation
• Ability to develop and implement therapy plans
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Experience with IEPs and special education teams
• Paid travel for itinerant positions

Location:

• Newburyport, MA

Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments and evaluations for students requiring occupational therapy
• Provide direct therapy services and ensure the delivery of appropriate interventions
• Collaborate with educators, parents, and other specialists to support student needs
• Attend and participate in IEP meetings and professional development
• Maintain accurate documentation and progress notes as per state regulations
• Manage time effectively to meet the needs of the students and the school
