Key Qualifications and Experience:
- Active licensure as an Occupational Therapist
- Demonstrated background in school-based OT services, particularly with school-age populations and students with diverse and complex needs
- Expertise working with autistic support programs, life skills curriculum, and those with multiple disabilities
- Strong organizational abilities to manage schedules, caseloads, and all required documentation efficiently
- Capable of handling the demands of timely evaluations, progress notes, and participation in IEP meetings
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide direct and consultative OT support to students in the Low Incidence Program
- Develop individualized treatment plans tailored to help students achieve academic and functional goals
- Adapt strategies and interventions to align with each learners unique needs
- Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teamsteachers, aides, and other service providers
- Maintain thorough and accurate records, reports, and documentation as required
