An opportunity exists for an experienced Occupational Therapist to support students in a dynamic educational environment in Miami, FL. This position involves working with children aged 2 to 18 years, focusing on mild to moderate needs, including delays in pragmatics, reading, and writing, as well as high-functioning autism.

Qualifications:

• Valid Florida Occupational Therapy license
• Medicaid provider number
• Experience working in pediatric settings, particularly with school-aged children
• Strong assessment and evaluation skills
• Ability to provide direct therapy and collaborate on IEPs

Location:

• Miami, FL

Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments and evaluations to determine student needs
• Provide individual therapy sessions tailored to each child
• Collaborate with educators and parents to develop and implement IEP goals
• Attend and participate in IEP meetings and other necessary school functions
